Christmas tree outing 2013

On Sunday we loaded up in the truck and went and picked up grandpa and grandma scott. We were heading up to leoni meadows to get our Christmas trees. We stopped in diamond springs for a hardy breakfast! There was a lot of snow and ice on the roads so scott drove nice and slow to keep us all safe!

Grandpa thought it would be fun to take the back road on an adventure! There was a lot of snow on the dirt road and about 2 miles into the road we got stuck!! We had to back down the road until we found a spot we could slide (lol) into and turn around. After an hour or so we were able to get out of that mess! Grandpa stayed outside of the truck to help scott see where to go!! It was chilly out about 30 degrees!

Finally we made it to leoni meadows! It was so beautiful. The trees all snow covered and the meadows looked majestic! We bundled Kolt all up and headed out to look for trees!! Scott disappeared into the woods with the chainsaw and came out with a tree! Can't wait to get it up and decorated!

After we got the trees back to the truck we let Kolt play in the snow!!
